Semi-Precious Stones

The fact that a stone is semi-precious does not negate its beauty or rarity. Semi-precious stones are frequently more expensive than precious stones. They can be purple or yellow in color, which is unusual for precious stones. Semi-precious gems can be transparent or have obvious inclusions. Rocks or organic material can be used to represent semi-precious gemstones.
